Learning Together Homeschool Group

In 2008, Learning Together was started with a vision to support homeschooling families.  We have kept the following underlying principles as we have changed and evolved over the years:

  • We welcome all familes into our Christian environment

  • We support homeschool families with Parent Support Meetings and Student Classes

  • We model and practice good character, working together, and stewardship

We are offer two complementary learning groups - paid tutorials for older students and a parent led cooperative for younger students.

Learning Together Tutorials
Learning Together Tutorials was created to meet the needs of older students in middle and high school.  Our tutorials offer academically challenging classes taught by paid, experienced tutors. Many of these classes count for high school credit. Learning Together Tutorial classes meet on Wednesdays for 32 weeks from September to May. Parents can choose one or multiple classes for their students to supplement their homeschooling.  We offer a parent meeting specifically to tutorial parents once each semester to offer support, encouragement and to gather feedback.

Learning Together Cooperative
Our cooperative consists of parents coming together to teach enrichment courses to their K-8th grade children in a group setting. A nursery is provided for children that are younger than kindergarten. Classes meet Friday mornings for two semesters. The heart of our cooperative is a monthly parent meeting where we offer support and encouragement to one another!
